Sorry about the lack of blogging. Let me get a couple of things straight about college before I continue.
1. It's challenging. (I would say hard, but Coach Waldmann always corrected me when I said that about a swim workout and replace it with the word "challenging". Maybe it sounds more mature. It beats me, it means the same thing.)
2. You have to study a lot to make an 82.
3. You spend a lot of time in the library. (Fourth floor in Evans is where it's AT!)
4. Trying to squeeze in a social life can be draining.
5. Dressing up means wearing something besides a t-shirt.
Don't get me wrong, I really love A&M. I feel very alive here. There is always something to do and I am making some really good friends. But, there are times when I look around me and don't see a single person that I recognize. Then I begin to feel this weird tingle in the pit of my stomach and feel incredibly alone. Luckily it usually doesn't last longer than a few minutes or a half hour before I am back to loving college. I wonder if this is how other people at a college the size of A&M feel. I mean over 45,000 students going to ONE school. That is a lot of people.
Anyway, I'll try to update more... after I'm done studying.
